Using Zoom And Other Conferencing Services on AceUp

You can include a meeting link or phone number each time when you book, confirm or reschedule a session.

Include a meeting link for a session

Each time you book a session for your coachee or accept a session request, you have the option to add a meeting link for that particular session/session request, regardless of whether you have a Zoom account integrated.

When booking a session, you can add such info in the scheduler as shown below:

You will then be asked to add and confirm the link and join instructions (if any) at the next steps:

Once you've done that, you will be able to review your inputs from the Sessions section - UPCOMING tab by clicking on "Meeting Details":

Click on the downward arrow to view join instructions (if any). From here you can also update the information if you need to before the session occurs. 

You will have the same option with a similar process to add/change a meeting link and join instructions (if any) when:

  • Accepting a session request;
  • Rescheduling a session;
  • Booking a session by overriding your calendar:

Meeting Information included in emails and calendar invites

The Zoom or other conference service links and join instructions (if any) will be included in the "Session Confirmation" email and the calendar invite. If you make any changes to such information on a scheduled session, you will also receive a "Session Update" email with the updated meeting information and calendar invite.

Use a meeting link for a session

When you are ready to have the session with your coachee, simply access the meeting link and any conference service you decide to use for the session can be used. Alternatively, you can go to the Sessions section on your Coach Dashboard. Navigate to the UPCOMING tab and click on "Join" to open the pre-inserted link.

Coachee experience

Similarly, the Zoom or other conference service links and join instructions (if any) will be included in their "Session Confirmation" email and the calendar invite. If you make any changes to such information on a scheduled session, they will also receive a "Session Update" email with the updated meeting information and calendar invite.

Additionally, coachees will be able to view and use the Zoom or other conference service links and join instructions (if any) from their coachee dashboard.

Phone Number

In any & all the places where you can insert a meeting link as mentioned above, you can also add your preferred phone number instead. The phone number you entered will appear the same as a meeting link for both you and coachees. The only exception is that when you or your coachee clicks "JOIN" from the session card, the phone number will not be directly dialed from the platform.
