Understanding AceUp Ally

With Ally as your coaching assistant, you can maximize the value of your coaching sessions. This innovative tool seamlessly integrates into your 1:1 meetings, securely and confidentially recording and organizing key discussion topics.

How It Works

1. Activation

Once your organization has activated Ally, you will receive a welcome message from AceUp Ally inviting you to opt in.

2. Opt-in

To enable Ally to join your sessions, you can go to your Settings and toggle the feature on.

3. Ask your coach to let Ally into your Zoom room. 

In some situations, when the session starts, you and your coach must confirm the call recording and approve AceUp Ally's participation.

4. Explore your session insights

AceUp Ally will generate a detailed session summary shortly after the call ends, including key points, action items, and insights. Your coach will be asked to review the notes before sharing them via message.

Known Limitations

Ally will join to the session only once. If the call drops for any reason, like connection issues, Ally will not automatically rejoin the call.

Although this issue is rare, we are working to find solutions to improve AceUp Ally's functionality in these scenarios. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

FAQ

  • Does Ally participate in the conversation?

No, Ally doesn't participate in the conversation but observes and analyzes it to generate a comprehensive summary.

  • Why is meeting recording necessary for AceUp Ally to function?

Ally needs the discussion recording to analyze the conversation reliably and accurately. The generated summary is based on the extracted transcript and sentiment analysis. Recording data access and deletion will be handled as described in our Data Processing Addendum.

  • What if the coach/coachee does not confirm the bot joining the session?

If you do not confirm AceUp Ally’s participation in the session, a session summary will not be generated. However, you can always use Ally’s help in your next sessions.

  • What happens if the call is closed and, when reopened, the bot is not rejoining?

Ally will not be able to rejoin the session after it is closed for any reason. 

  • Will the AceUp Ally join all my sessions?

After you enable Ally, all your future sessions will include this experience, and you can also disable it at any time.

  • My company hasn't opted in, how I can try to use AceUp Ally?

If your organization hasn't enabled Ally, you can express interest in the beta version by clicking the heart icon.This will notify your company's account manager.
